Jean Decker

Executive Director, President- Jean is the founder of Peace By Piece NJ, Inc. She is the mastermind behind the journey of this organization! Jean enjoys long walks in nature, eating clean and raising awareness for healthy living. She has a lifelong dream of traveling across the country in a motorhome.

Danielle Decker

Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, Activities Director- Danielle helps run the business along side her mother Jean. She is in charge of all the social media platforms. Danielle’s biggest hobby is photography and she is always finding JOY in the simplest of things!

Miles Thor

Mascot, Therapy Dog- Miles is a total mush! He loves to be around people and have everyone love on him. Jean and Danielle drove many miles to Wisconsin to get him, hence his name. This pup will journey many more miles with our group!

Keith Westpy

Chief Financial Officer, Jean’s brother- Keith, helped Jean launch the 501c3 PBPNJ vision. Afterwards, Keith remained on and supports accounting as well as anything business or compliance related. When not helping PBPNJ Keith has his career but also is loving life with his wife Joan as they have begun a new chapter in their life in North Carolina.

Susan Pullis

Administrative Assistant- Susan is thankful to be a part of the PBPNJ family and to be given the opportunity to watch the organization grow and reach so many beautiful people.  She enjoys spending time with her husband Dave and their family, going for walks with Luna, hiking, gardening, cooking and baking.  Susan loves being a wife, Mom and Nonna!

Kerry Westpy

Direct Support Professional- Kerry has been working with PBPNJ for the last two years. She is a longterm resident of Branchville, NJ with her husband. Kerry has 3 boys ages 24, 20 and 13. In her spare time, she loves to travel and go camping.

Hunter Boss

Direct Support Professional, Fleet Manager- Hunter has been involved with PBPNJ since the very beginning! He’s our friend who has become family. Some fun facts about Hunter - he loves fitness, working on his car and hanging with his lizard Stevie.

Laura Sullivan

Direct Support Professional, Supported Employment Specialist- Laura graduated magma cum laude from Lesley University with a B.S. in English and education. She completed many post-baccalaureate graduate courses and training in Special Education. Laura taught Special Education in the New Jersey public schools for fifteen years, working across all exceptionalities and grade levels. She served as a member of the Board of Directors for DAWNcil. Laura has two children ages 25 and 13.

nolan reinhardt

Direct Support Professional, Safety Compliance Officer- Nolan has been working with the specially abled since 2017; when he first started working for Celebrate the Children. This job opportunity opened doors for him to work at SMILE of Hopatcong and Peace By Piece. When not working, Nolan loves investing time with his two children. His passions in life are: graphic design, fine art, working out, cardistry, skateboarding, and drumming. Lastly, Nolan has a deep desire to love others as he has been called to love.

Jessica Pappa

Direct Support Professional- Jessica lives in Stillwater, with her husband and two children. Her hobbies are baking, gardening, and hanging out with her family. Jessica’s true passion is her work in Supported Employment and assisting individuals in finding their dream job.

Jordan Pace

Direct Support Professional- Jordan graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in May of 2023. Jordan received a bachelors in Autism Behavioral Studies and a minor in psychology. Her older sister who is a member of the program is her inspiration for getting involved in this field. On her free time Jordan loves to read, spend time with her family/friends and travel!

Susan welch

Direct Support Professional- Susan has been involved with PBP for many years and is the mother of Lily, one of our beautiful members. She is married to Bill and together they have Lily and 2 dogs. Susan also has a son named Stephen and a beautiful new grandson. She started and ran a successful business for 24 years and recently sold it. In her free time, Susan likes to crochet, camp in her 41’ 5th wheel, watch the Yankees, walk/hike, spend time with friends and all the members/employees of PBP. Her focus for the next 3.5 years is to help her daughter become as independent as possible before she moves to Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.

Rebecca Englehardt

Direct Support Professional- Rebecca has been called to Peace By Piece by the same love and grace she radiates to all, especially the population PBP serves, which she has been working alongside since 2014. Rebecca is a big advocate for kindness. When not working with this community, she donates her time to local animal shelters and organizations that strive to provide any means of support to those in need. Rebecca believes that laughter is the best medicine. She is in her true element when she is enjoying: nature in all forms, music (singing), creating art, spending time with family/loved ones, and just walking through life at the beat of her own drum.

Michael Nebbia

Event/Fundraising Coordinator- Michael graduated from William Paterson University with a BS in business administrations.  For 3 decades, Michael owned and operated a successful videography business in New Jersey.  His compassion and love for the community and for those in need, lead him to devote his time and energy to Peace By Piece.  Michael is married, and is the proud father of 3 children and 2 grandchildren.   When he's not meeting members of Sussex County, he loves to find great new venues to dine in the area.

Daele Phlegar

Family Support Professional- Daele has over 25+ years experience assisting families navigate the state service systems for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. She is a parent of a 24 year old daughter with autism and has gained personal and professional experience on how to apply, utilize and transition between DCF (Perform Care) and DDD services, steps of guardianship, special needs trusts and the importance of SSI eligibility. Although Daele currently works full time in quality assurance for DDD licensed homes, it is her desire to continue sharing the knowledge of service acquisition and supporting families on this journey. She is a longterm resident of Stillwater NJ with her husband and two grown children. In her free time she enjoys crafting, gardening and ringing hand bells.
